Com a aproximação de um evento de proporção global no ano de 2025, a COP 30, em Belém do Pará, o autor se dedicou a registrar nesta obra, de forma suscinta, porém profunda, baseada em argumentos e em números, a condição em que se encontra a Amazônia na atualidade e as possibilidades de se a gerir com a devida justeza.

Se, a título de exemplo, a Amazônia, por meio de seus rios voadores - entre tantos outros recursos mais - representa uma grande benesse para todo o planeta, cabe igualmente a todo o planeta a responsabilidade sobre os cuidados que ela demanda. With the approach of a globally significant event in 2025, COP 30 in Belém do Pará, the author has dedicated himself in this work to recording, succinctly yet profoundly, based on arguments and numbers, the current condition of the Amazon and the possibilities for managing it with due fairness. More than waving the Amazon banner in fervent speeches and formidable events, what the region needs are effective, well-crafted, and above all, just actions regarding those upon whom its entire care falls: the Amazonian people.
If, for example, the Amazon, through its flying rivers - among many other resources - represents a great benefit for the entire planet, then the responsibility for the care it demands also falls upon the entire planet. This is what this work is about. The bill must be paid by all who benefit from it. The Amazon depends on realistic initiatives to assume the protagonism that is rightfully its own. It is incumbent upon the entire planet to care for the life of this biome that offers so much life - to everyone!
